IWF’s Big Game Migration Assessment Will Shape Salmon-Challis Forest Management
The Salmon-Challis National Forest is 4.3 million acres of public land brimming with wildlife and hunting opportunities. IWF compiled the latest habitat and migration mapping science overlayed with current land uses to provide the Forest Service an instructional roadmap for conserving big game herds while enhancing the hunting legacy of the region into the future.
