There are dozens of political arenas throughout state and federal government frameworks where fish, wildlife, and outdoor opportunities can be enhanced or put on the chopping block. We monitor and work with all individuals, agencies, processes and levels of government that can impact our outdoor heritage and let you know when and how you need to speak up.

IWF Brings Your Voice to the Idaho State Legislature

Each year during the Idaho legislative session, IWF acts as a voice for the sportsmen and women of Idaho. Rain or shine, whether the ducks are flying or the fish are biting, we are at the State House whenever a voice is needed for the wildlife, public lands, or hunters and anglers of Idaho.

Establishing Relationships in the State Executive Branch

Whether it’s the Governor and his staff, or state agency leadership from Idaho Department of Fish and Game or Idaho Department of Lands, we work with and foster good relationships with state-level leaders in all aspects of the state-level executive branch.

Engaging and Mobilizing Idahoans

We work hard to keep you up to date on the latest changes or opportunities for positive change. We provide you with tools to effortlessly take part in those processes. We mobilize communities to advocate for their self-interests.
