One of the largest archery shoots in Idaho and a cornerstone event for the state’s bowhunting community, Idaho State Bowhunters will once again host its annual Jamboree on July 17-19 at Thatcher Creek.
The multi-day event brings archers together for a wide range of shoots, including 3D courses set in natural terrain, novelty shoots, and opportunities for archers of all ages and skill levels to participate. It’s not only a competition, but a gathering that celebrates Idaho’s strong archery tradition and community.
The Jamboree will return to its usual location following coordination with the U.S. Forest Service, though some adjustments will be made due to recent fire impacts in the area. With those changes, additional help will be needed, and volunteers are encouraged to get involved in setup and preparation leading up to the event.
Whether you’re looking to compete, practice, or just connect with fellow archers, the Jamboree is a highlight of summer! Event details, schedule, and updates can be found at: Jamboree 2026 - Idaho State Bowhunters
