Idaho LCW - A Morning of Fishing and Conservation
Date and Time: Wednesday, September 16, 9 AM - 12 PM
Location: Lower Dam Recreation Area at northern end of Lake
Lowell (off of Riverside Road).
Let’s go fishing at a National Wildlife Refuge! Learn the basics of fishing and enjoy your time in nature. No experience required, all ages welcomed. End your fishing outing with provided lunch.
What to Bring: Fishing poles will be provided for use at this event. Just bring your smiles and excitement for a morning of fishing (and maybe water shoes for wading in the shallows and a sun hat and sunglasses).
Accessibility: The area is a mix of grass and sand. Please note that the site is not ADA accessible due to the sandy beach and lack of firm pathways or platforms.
Registration: There will be a limit of 50 attendees so make sure to register you and your family early! Spots may fill up fast. Individuals from the Idaho Wildlife Federation, Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) will be on hand to assist all new anglers with the basics of fishing.
