Join us for the return of the Spring Bear Bash on March 28 from 3–6 PM PST! This relaxed gathering celebrates spring bear hunting and brings outdoorsmen and women together for good conversation, connection, and community. This event is free to attend!
This year’s event features a lineup of experienced speakers covering a range of bear hunting topics—from baiting and hound hunting to field care and spot-and-stalk strategies. You’ll also hear from the Idaho Wildlife Federation on current advocacy efforts and how to stay involved.
We’re excited to welcome:
• Jeff & Nicole Davis of Big Boar Bear Baits - baiting
• Thomas Walton of American Bear Foundation - conservation & ABF’s work
• Adam Vandenover of Elusive Creatures Taxidermy - field care for bears
• Fred Moyer with North Idaho Houndsmen - hound hunting and bear hunting insights
Plus, IWF’s own Kyle Maki, Sporting Partnerships and Policy Manager, to chat all things spot-and-stalk bear hunting and current IWF work.
We’ll also be giving away a bear baiting starter package, a couple of onX memberships, and Idaho Wildlife Federation gear - so be sure to join us and stick around!
Whether you’re new to bear hunting or a seasoned hunter, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and get ready for the season ahead.
