WILD EATS: A WILD GAME COOK-OFF

Hosted by Clairvoyant Brewing

We're inviting you to join the Idaho Wildlife Federation at Clairvoyant Brewing on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 for a one-of-a kind regional event.

We need YOU -the southwestern Idaho sporting community - to bring forth your most delicious wild game dishes from the following three categories: fish, game birds and big game! One dish from each category will win a prize package overflowing with prizes perfectly suited for the wild game culinary enthusiast from IWF sponsors and supporters, merchandise packages from Idaho Wildlife Federation and Clairvoyant, gift cards to Clairvoyant Brewing and more.

We are now accepting registration for dishes, so if you are interested in submitting a game fish, game bird or big game dish (8 maximum per category) be sure to register now!

Winners will be selected by a panel of independent judges organized by IWF and Clairvoyant.

Clairvoyant Brewing’s esteemed brewers will be doing a brew pairing with all meals so come by and get feedback on what Clairvoyant suds might pair best with your next wild game meal.

WILD EATS attendees will obviously be able to go inside Clairvoyant, but WILD EATS will be an outdoor event so dress accordingly!

 A Few Quick Rules:

  • Dish must be prepared at home and can only be maintained on heat at Clairvoyant Brewing.

  • Dishes must contain at least one major wild game ingredient. For example, the wild game can be a part of a dish or the entire dish i.e. an elk steak. Extra points for creativity :)

  • Dishes can be bite-sized, finger food, in a bowl or on a plate, but all dishes must be registered by no later than noon on Thursday, May 5th to ensure IWF can supply appropriate materials to serve.

  • IWF will provide appropriate cutlery, plating etc, but all transportation and on-site maintenance should be organized by the chefs.

  • WILD EATS is a celebration of the experience of harvesting, cooking and sharing wild game with your community. We’d suggest a minimum of a dozen portions so that folks get to experience your dish.

Drinks available to those of age from Clairvoyant.

This is an open to the public event. Entry is free for anyone who are members of parties that are bringing dishes, but IWF humbly encourages a $10 contribution (can be made on-site) for anyone coming to partake in WILD EATS.

If you have any questions regarding WILD EATS, or how to register your dish, email Communicationsand Outreach Coordinator Daniel Ritz at DRitz@IdahoWIldlife.Org. .
