Issues
The Idaho Wildlife Federation seeks to spread awareness on behalf of issues that support Idaho's fish and wildlife populations, the delicate habitats that support them, and access to these resources by sportsmen and women alike.
ACCESS
–
Many individuals and interests continually get away with obstructing this access – flouting existing laws and trespassing public property by claiming it as their own or physically blocking public access on ground and water the public has every right to be.
HABITAT
–
Habitat provides food, water, and space all animals need to survive. Here is how IWF works to enhance and sustain healthy lands and waters.
Public lands
–
Public lands and waters supply unfragmented habitat for Idaho’s fish and wildlife and provide the backbone for our $7.8 billion recreation industry, the second largest industry in Idaho. They also contribute immeasurably to our culture and quality of life.
FISH & Wildlife
–
IWF works tirelessly on proactive efforts to enhance our fish and wildlife populations and hunting and fishing experiences, while defending against the increasing threats of disease, invasive species, pollution, and privatization.
